The foremost
industrialist and chairman Eleganza Industries, Alhaji Rasak Akanni Okoya,
kicked off his 76th birthday
celebration in grand style with a Juma’át prayer on Friday 8th
January 2016 at his residence, Oluwanisola Estate, Ajah, Lagos. After the prayers,
he gave out clothing materials to the less-privileged in society and fed over
two thousand people who besieged his home. The celebration was rounded off with
a classic party in his house. Among the personalities that graced the exclusive
party were, former Interim Head of State, Chief Earnest Shonekan; Governor of
Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, and wife, Bolanle; Mrs. Adejoke
Orelope-Adefulire, Princess Sarah Sosan; Oba Adedapo Tejuosho and his Olori;
Otunba Adekunle Ojora and wife, Ojuolape; Chief Adebutu Kessington; Justice
Oguntade and wife; Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa; Sen. Daisy Danjuma and host of
others.
