Unknown Gun men killed APC chieftain in Benue
Unknown gunmen have shot and killed the organising Secretary of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Gwer west local government area Terwase Gugu.
The incident occurred on Friday evening about 7pm in NAIA town .
Police spokesman Deputy Superintendent of Police ( DSP) Moses Yamu confirmed the incident and sad police have commenced investigations.
Moses Yamu described the incident as robbery attacked and said after a hot chase the robbers abandoned their vehicle along Naka- Aondona- Taraku road .

An eyewitness Ujam Igbo told The Nation that the APC scribe was around Naka round about when some people in a vehicle drove in and parked , and one of them came out and shot him.
Mr.Igbo said immediately they open fire on him ,he return to their vehicle and drove away .
Another eye witness who pleaded anonymity however said the gun men attempt to robbed a recharge card dealer in the area but the victim tried to stop them and they shot and killed him.
But in an attempt to escaped through Naka- Aondona- Taraku road ,youths in the area Gabe them a hot chase and they abandoned their vehicle halfway and escaped Into the bush .
Mr Ujam Igbo described the victim as a easy going young man who left behind a young wife and children .
