Former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Former Governor of Cross River State, Mr. Donald Duke and Other high dignitaries set to be part of history again as Ethan & Harriet (‘E&H’) Nigeria’s pioneer educational toy provider will launch its range of educational toys and Nigerian-themed puzzles at a grand event.

Ethan & Harriet is an in an indigenous company championing the promotion of Nigeria’s cultural heritage through fun and games.

According to the founder of Ethan & Harriet (‘E&H’), Bunmi Williams, who speaks on the exclusivity on the Brand “Our flagship products are the Nigerian-themed jigsaw puzzles, and the strength of these puzzles is that it further enhances the profile of Nigeria on the world stage in a fun and creative way. It is a powerful tool for children and adults. It allows Nigerians, both home and in Diaspora, play a game that teaches about their history and values, which other games currently may not address.

The brand is to create awareness and reinforce Nigeria’s history and that the launching is a part of line-up of activities marking the company’s operations within the Nigerian market and also have its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative ‘Ethan & Harriet Pals’ will also be unveiled. Through this project, Ethan & Harriet Company intends to provide students with improved educational facilities, which will help stimulate their interest in learning and keep them in school.

The survey carried out by the group found that 82 per cent of Nigerian children have limited knowledge of their country’s history and culture.

With the Federal Government targeting the transformation of the educational sector with modern learning facilities through partnerships with private organizations, stakeholders expect the introduction of the Ethan & Harriet range of educational toys to build a sense of national pride among children.

Williams stated further that “Ethan and Harriet is excited to be making this entry to the Nigerian market at a time where our children need to be taught proactively about their history.  By officially unveiling our flagship products, we are bringing to light the importance of Ethan & Harriet’s heritage value proposition and highlighting its benefits pertaining to education, youth development and tourism,” she said.

The grand event which is slated for 25th of August at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. Special Guest of Honour is Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, (GCFR), Chief Reviewer is Former Governor of Cross River State, Mr.  Donald Duke while Speaker is  Chairperson, Association of Private Educators in Nigeria (APEN), Dr Olufemi Ogunsanya amongst other dignitaries.
