Sunday, 18th September,2016, Celebrities will converged at Anchor Event
Center, off Lateef Jakande Road, Ikeja. for the second edition of Ijesa Day, a
celebration of the diverse cultures of Ijesaland holding in Lagos. The high
personalities that billed to grace the elaborate event include The Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, HRM
OBA (DR) Gabriel Adekunle Ademolaran; Osun State Governor Rauf Adesoji
Aregbesola; Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode; and Minister of Health,
Prof. Isaac Folorunsho Adewole. Others are Sir Demola Aladekomo, Prince Ade
Fadahunsi, Erelu Olusola Obada,Princess Toyin Kolade, Chief (MRS.) Remi Olowu,
Chief Olu Falomo, Lefosan of Ilesa and host of others, some of the highpoint of
the celebration includes the launch of the proposed Ijesa Youth Development
Foundation Complex, a facility that will boast of a Lawn Tennis Court, Table
Tennis, Swimming Pool, Library, Computer Centre and more. Entertainment at the
event will be supplied by Saint Janet, Femi Lancaster among others, while Ereke
Ni Shop, Dr. Dipo Folorunsho and Baba Ijesa will anchor.
