Ojo Ibukun Foundation celebrate Tinubu at 65, adopt indigent pupils

Ojo Ibukun Foundation in collaboration with Hassmowun Foundation, yesterday celebrated the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at 65. The foundations, as part of the celebration, adopted 300 indigent pupils from different Primary Schools.

The pupils were given items such as school bags, note books and stationery.

The convener, Hon Adeniyi Shamsideen of Ojo Ibukun Foundation, said the gesture was designed to identify highly indigent pupils in public primary schools in Eredo LCDA, Epe, Lagos and provide them with school items not covered by the free education policy of the state government.

Hon Adeniyi shared the story behind the project “ A boy who was coming back from School barefooted and have to leave the main tarred road to walk in the bushes because his small bare feet could not cope with the blistering heat of the tarred road” is plight gave birth to this programmed he added. The theme of the programme is NO CHILD IS LEFT BEHIND
